Process & Delivery
To begin the process, you will fill out the commission contact form below or shoot me an email at lory@loryivey.com. Once we iron out what you are looking for, I will send you the commission contract. Once the initial payment of 50% of the total is made, I will begin work. You can expect your painting to be ready for delivery in 6-10 weeks. One week before delivery, the final payment will be due. (Payment plan options available.)
Note: Heavily-layered, "poured" pieces sometimes require more time because the painting must evolve from a milky consistency to a vibrant, translucent glossiness! This can take up to 12 weeks, but averages 8-10 weeks. But it is worth it! (If you need your piece sooner, let me know and we can discuss tweaks to meet your time frame!)
Pricing & Payment for Custom Work
Works on paper begin at $250. Commissioned works on canvas and wood begin at $400. (This can be used for one medium sized piece or for two smaller, paired pieces.) When you return the engagement contract, I require a non-refundable 50% deposit. Final payment is due one week before delivery of your bespoke painting.
Calculating Price Estimates
Works are generally begin at $20 per linear inch, depending on the style and other factors. To determine the minimum cost of your desired size, add the desired length to the desired width, and multiple by 20.
Example:
16 x 20 inch paintings begin at $720 (16+20) x $20 = $720
